Samsung is one of the big manufacturers when it comes to folding smartphones, and with that, a wide range of rumors circulate on the net about the design of the next devices that the company can "invent".
Among many possible options, some more optimistic, others unrealistic at the moment, even so the company seems to have creative ideas, and apparently a new foldable device is on the way. According to the latest information on Samsung's official blog, the company is developing one or two devices that have a very different design than the conventional one.

In the publication, it is possible to identify a comic tip that shows a folding phone with a double hinge, and another model with a scrollable phone, as if it were a kind of built-in roller. Both models have appeared in different Samsung patents before, and now they should finally be in development.
Three-screen, two-hinged model
According to the picture, this is an innovative design. The display installed in this gadget can fold twice using a double hinge. In this way, the flexible display consists of a set of three equal screens that form a larger and more square display.
The highlight for this model is that when the device is folded, it still has a thin volume, without anything too extravagant. Overall, it is a slim and compact device, which when unfolded can transform into a tablet. And even when folded, it doesn't appear to have a display too small, as if it were impossible to type a text message, for example.
However, a problem that can arise is the screen that is positioned on the back side of the phone. Consequently, this screen would suffer more damage than the others, as it is more exposed when placing it on a table. On the Z Fold and Z Flip models, Samsung uses the UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) screen protector which is significantly less scratch resistant.
A solution to this possible problem would be to let the third screen fold inwards, giving less damage exposure, obviously.

Scrollable model with physical keyboard
This model appears to be a little more complex. Apparently, few people would be able to use this device naturally, being preferably intended for people who want to perform professional functions with an improved experience.
This is a possible statement, as the model has a sliding keyboard that is stored next to the body of the smartphone. This should be useful for anyone who writes a lot, such as copywriters, journalists, or students.
Samsung's blog post says you can keep using the keyboard even if the device is tucked inside the larger compartment. This would give a compact and very modern use, however, without much naturalness.
However, nothing has been confirmed or denied about the two editions of alleged releases, but this seems to be an interesting hint about what we can expect from Samsung's new folding device.
