    State of Play (August): The main game trailers for the Sony event

    Yesterday (06), during State of Play, unfortunately we didn't have more revelations about the Playstation 5. However, there were more details about some games already announced like Control, The Pathless and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. Fortunately, the event was not without any news and a remade version of the game Braid was presented, which is celebrating 12 years of existence, in addition to the confirmation of the Temtem game for the PS5.

    Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

    Throughout the video, several gameplay scenes and some cinematic excerpts from the story of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time were shown. In this trailer, it was possible to know in a more visual way how the game mechanics will work, a little more about the plot and the different possibilities to play the game, for example, using different characters to pass the levels, wearing new clothes and even changing the visual image of Crash Bandicoot 4.

    Hitman 3 children VR

    The main highlight in the new trailer for Hitman 3 was support for PSVR, which allows the game to be played using virtual reality technology (VR or virtual reality). Another novelty that was revealed together was the possibility to play not only the third game in the franchise, but also the entire trilogy through PSVR.

    It is important to note that Hitman 3 is scheduled for release only next year (2021) on PS5.

    Braid Anniversary Edition

    Braid, a classic indie game from 2008, has just won a remade version in celebration of its 12th birthday. The game gained new visuals and several improvements, making the animation more fluid.


    There is still no exact date for the release of Braid, but it has been reported that it will be in the year 2021.

    The Pathless

    Developed by the studio responsible for the game ABZÛ, The Pathless brings a great fluidity in the movements looking at the gameplay of the trailer. It is possible to move with great agility and at the same time hit the targets. In addition, during the broadcast of the game, it is possible to see some clashes against creatures called Cursed Spirits, where to weaken them it will be enough to rekindle the light of some obelisks.

    The Pathless will be released later this year 2020 for Playstation 5.

    Spelunky 2

    According to the trailer, Spelunky 2 will debut on September 15th for Playstation 4. It is the sequel to a title in the roguelike RPG subgenre, where the scenario is based on blocks.

    Genshin impact

    Developed by miHoYo studio, Genshin Impact is an open world game in the RPG genre that bears a strong resemblance to the title Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Its plot is based on the adventure of a mysterious protagonist who explores a world called Teyvat, where throughout the story he obtains special powers.

    bugsnax

    Another Bugsnax trailer has been revealed. This time, mission scenes were shown where the player controls a journalist who explores an island inhabited by bizarre creatures.


    Bugsnax will be released in late 2020 for PS4 and PS5.

    Immortal Vader

    Vader Immortal will soon get a version for Playstation VR (PSVR). It is a game where the player will have a great immersion in the Star Wars universe, where the protagonist will improve his skills with the Force to face the great Darth Vader.


    Vader Immortal will be released on August 25th for Playstation VR.

    Control - AWE Expansion

    Control's second expansion, AWE, has been announced, in which Alan Wake will be the protagonist.

    The AWE expansion will launch for Control on August 27th.

    The Pedestrian

    Developed by Skookum Arts studio, The Pedestrian is a puzzle game, where the player will have to face different challenges using a puppet in a 2D maze formed by plates.

    The Pedestrian does not yet have an exact release date, but it is known that it will arrive in 2021.

    Hood: Outlaws & Legends

    Developed by Sumo Digital studio, Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a game set in the medieval era played in a third-person perspective. In the trailer we see the first gameplay images of the title that will arrive for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One and PC, in the year 2021.

    Temtem

    Developed by the studio Crema, Temtem was revealed as a game that will be released for the Playstation 5 platform. It has a gameplay similar to that of Pokémon with a gameplay reminiscent of RPGs. The game will also be released for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

    Godfall

    Developed by Counterplay Games studio, Godfall was one of the first titles that were announced for the Playstation 5 console. In this trailer we have a better view of the game, where a gameplay was shown demonstrating the five types of weapons that can be used during fights in the game .

    Godfall will be released by the end of this year for Playstation 5 and PC.
