Microsoft releases patched update for Windows 10

Microsoft recently released a new cumulative update package for Windows 10, this time aimed at Slow cycle users. The update features the same bug fixes as the pack that was released last week, targeting both Anniversary Update users and Creators alike.

In the new pack there is a small change that, according to Microsoft, replaces last week's pack for Slow cycle users that are included in the Creators Update.

"We released KB4034450 to Windows Insiders on Slow cycle which replaced KB4022716 and includes a single fix for an issue that caused some laptops to boot to a black screen."

According to the MSweruser website, it has been a while since Microsoft has released updates, especially for slow cycle users. The package in question is a bug fix and still has a small security improvement for users who maintain such a cycle and who are waiting for the first builds of Fall Creators.

Microsoft, according to the publication, will change the system of updates from the slow cycle, which will make it more similar to what it does for the average Windows user, that is, the release of new builds in phases.

The phased update system will not affect Windows Insiders Quick cycle users, who will continue to receive new updates at the same time.

The update will arrive for users automatically. However, if desired, it can be done manually.
