Yesterday I really needed to use Instagram Direct through some medium other than the smartphone. After a long and fruitless search, I had no other way out than, cornered and with my tail between my legs, to go and beg InstagramSantamiris patron saint
Hi @instagram please make a web based version of direct messages, please. I never asked you for anything
- EvilMaax I (@EvilMaax) October 3, 2017It didn't work and I again, now with more emphasis, needed to use Direct on the notebook. I heard an uplifting song and thought I could do anything I wanted, so I went back to looking for a way to do that. The result? I found it =D
The best part is that we don't need to install anything suspicious - like those bizarre links that said they would solve my problem that I found in my initial searches. The only thing we will need will be a tool from Windows 10 itself, so no problems or malicious code embedded.
Were you curious and can't stand to see that I'm here stuffing sausage? So let's go step by step:
Open the shop Windows 10 on your PC and search for the app "Instagram". Then just click "acquire" (it's completely free) and wait for it to install. It's 67,27 MB.
Then just log into the Instagram app installed on your PC.
And ready. The Direct symbol will be in the same place as in your mobile app.
With this version you will still be able to send photos (as long as they are in your Windows shared images folder) or made on the fly with the web cam. Marci very hot
We have 2 negative points with this version of direct:
10 most followed Instagram profiles in the world
First, it's still not possible to use emoticons in conversations or send messages with enter (you'll have to click the send button every time, just like on the internet in the 90s).
Second: It doesn't have an on/off option. As soon as you start Windows, the app will be loaded on the system and you will be logged in and anyone using your machine at that time will have access to your Instagram account. To avoid this just uninstalling the application or putting its startup in manual mode. But after manually initialized the same vulnerability occurs.
Good, but for now I think it's okay, right? At least the problem I solved with this app for the W10 was infinitely more annoying.
