When Facebook decided to separate its chat from the social network, many people ended up not approving the idea. However, as there was no other alternative, Messenger became quite popular in a short time.
Now, Instagram will be able to follow the same trajectory. The company of Mark Zuckerberg announced this Thursday (7), a new version of Instagram chat called Direct. According to The Verge, the tool is still in the testing phase and has already been made available in some countries such as Chile, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Uruguay.

The tool should remain similar to what is already seen within Instagram. The change is that with the Direct application installed on the cell phone, the Instagram application loses the entire right side area that was only used to access messages.
It is likely that with the separate messaging system Instagram, new functions will be attached to the social network aimed at sharing photos and videos.
And do you approve of the change?
